Whirlpool - 512-bit Cryptographic Hash
Whirlpool is a cryptographic hash function that produces a 512-bit (64-byte) hash value. It was designed by Vincent Rijmen and Paulo S. L. M. Barreto, and is one of the hash functions recommended by the NESSIE project.
Whirlpool is used in various security applications and is considered secure against known cryptographic attacks. It is included in ISO/IEC 10118-3 international standard.
